The Theotic equation for SPOTM
(with an A SCORE rating of 95/100 or 96/100)
Θ = (Δ × V × R × I) / (1 + 1.5M)
This is a heuristic model for applied domains (policy, technology, economics, education, personal conduct). It is not a reduction of The One. In the synchronic Now, all terms exist simultaneously; the equation simply makes visible the lawful relationships implanted in creation by the Divine Order.
Definitions
(Each positive term scaled 0–1 or 0–100. M scaled 0–1 or 0–100.)
Θ (Theotic Unfolding)
The living result — the measurable expansion of consciousness, beauty, technological capability, long-range stewardship, and conscious cosmic participation. It quantifies the degree to which finite beings more fully reflect, express, and co-create within the Divine Life of The One.
Δ (Divine Alignment)
Conscious participation in the objective theistic order. Highest when agents recognize that all reality subsists in God while God infinitely transcends it (panentheism), and when truth, personhood, and consent are treated as divinely grounded. Low when reality is treated as ultimately meaningless, purely material, or subject to arbitrary will.
V (Voluntary Creation)
Free, consent-based acts of production, innovation, capital accumulation, saving, technological amplification, and gifting. Directly incorporates rational egoism, property rights, and the process of wealth creation through voluntary exchange. Highest when value is generated and transferred without initiation of force. (Example: genuine voluntary distribution of productive ownership scores very high.)
R (Rational Coherence)
Alignment with objective reality, evidence, falsifiability, non-contradiction, and the Law of Identity. Reason is treated as a divine faculty rather than mere instrumental calculation. Highest when claims, policies, and personal conduct remain open to correction by reality.
I (Identity Integrity)
Degree to which the system or action respects the objective identity of entities — especially persons, property, biological reality, causal powers, and the irreducible individuality of each finite expression of The One. Highest when A is treated as A and persons are never reduced to interchangeable means or collective abstractions.
M (Misalignment Factor)
The presence of coercion, evasion of reality, statism, collectivism, compelled altruism, narrative control, or any initiation of force or fraud. Placed in the denominator (with a 1.5 weighting) because any increase in force or deception sharply reduces theotic flourishing. Even moderate levels of M significantly suppress Θ.
Notes on Use
- All positive terms are multiplicative: a near-zero score on any one of them (Δ, V, R, or I) collapses overall Theotic Unfolding.
- The 1.5 coefficient on M reflects SPOTM’s ethical seriousness about rights violations and coercion.
- The formula remains a useful tool that points toward the deeper relational truth of SPOTM:
All is in God, God is in All, and in the Eternal Now every free soul participates in the One Creative Act.
How to use The Theotic Equation
Practical usage steps
- Choose the thing you want to evaluate
A policy, technology, economic system, personal habit, company practice, cultural trend, law, or even a single decision. - Score each variable on a consistent scale (recommended: 0–1 for clean math, or 0–100 if you prefer percentages).
- Be as honest and evidence-based as possible.
- Use the definitions we established.
- Plug the numbers into the formula
Θ = (Δ × V × R × I) / (1 + 1.5M) - Interpret the result
- Θ near 1.0 (or 100) = strong theotic unfolding
- Θ near 0 = severe suppression of flourishing
- Because the positive terms are multiplicative, a single very low score (especially on V or I) will drag the whole result down hard — this is intentional.
- Compare alternatives
Run the same evaluation on competing options (e.g., high taxes vs. low flat tax vs. voluntary funding models). The relative ranking is often more useful than the absolute number. - Use it diagnostically
Look at which variable is the weakest. That tells you where the biggest leverage for improvement lies.
Should it replace the A Score or be used alongside it?
Use them together. They are complementary, not rivals.
| Tool | Best for | Strengths | Limitations |
|---|---|---|---|
| A Score (0–100) | Quick overall judgment | Fast, intuitive, easy to communicate | Less transparent about why |
| Theotic Equation | Deeper analysis & diagnosis | Shows exactly which factors are weak or strong; more predictive and precise | Takes more time and careful scoring |
Recommended practice:
- Start with a quick A Score for a rapid sense of overall alignment.
- Then run The Theotic Equation when you need clarity, comparison between options, or insight into what specifically needs to change.
- Over time, you can even calibrate your A Scores against Theotic Equation results so the two stay consistent.
In short:
Keep the A Score for speed and communication.
Use The Theotic Equation when you want depth, precision, and diagnostic power.
